Whether in person or on zoom, WAM’s Youth groups we have continued to meet through the challenges of lockdown to provide an important time and space for connection. We will be meeting less frequently between Easter and half term, as we re-calibrate after a strange few months! However we are still providing opportunities for us all to meet and have fun together in our woodland. Here are the key dates:

Tues 20th April: online
Tuesday 11th May: 5.30-7.30pm in the WAM Woods, Evesham
Tues 25th May: 5.30-7.30pm in the WAM Woods, Evesham

All WAM Youth staff and volunteers have the necessary legal checks to work with young people, and we have various additional safety measures in place for online meetings.

We have offered a variety of covid-secure games and activities for young people in bubbles of up to 15.

Our youth groups are free, however we encourage parents/carers to sign up to support us with weekly donations through out 1000 coffees campaign, please see our Support Us page for more details.

School Yrs 6- 8 Tuesdays 6-7.30pm.

We usually divide our time between Encounter Church Hall, and Winchcombe Sports Hall for team games and challenges!

School Yrs 8-11 Thursdays 6-7.30pm.

We create space for young people to hang out with their friends over activities in No 9 Gretton Road, and head over to Winchcombe Sports Hall for some ball games.

Year 8’s may choose which of the two youth groups to be a part of.

What else?

Throughout the year we run trips and events, e.g. we regularly go surfing, camping, we’ve been to lasertag, ice skating, played bubble football and been out for a meal. We hope to be able to resume these outings as soon as we are responsibly able!

If you have a young person wanting to get involved with above groups please get in touch with us at info@wamyouth.org.uk for a WAM Youth Membership Form and more details.
