ELEV8 YOUTH GROUP
School Yrs 6- 9 Tuesdays 6-8pm
At our youth group we offer a variety of activities for young people. We usually have a some food available (jacket potatoes, tacos, pizza etc) and time in the Sports Hall for team games and challenges.
We have a staff team supported by Youth Work students and volunteers from WAM or Encounter Church who supervise actvities and support the young people. We follow a safe recruitment process for all staff and volunteers. We use the facilities at Encounter Church including a pool table, table tennis, air hockey and have plenty of space in which young people can hang out with their friends.
Throughout the year we run trips and events, e.g. we regularly go surfing, camping, we’ve been to lasertag, ice skating, played bubble football and been out for a meal.
Young Gloucestershire will be running this programme at WAM during the Autumn Term. The programme is designed for girls aged between 10-20, our group will be open to those aged 11-15.
An engaging and interactive twelve week programme that improves self-esteem and confidence whilst empowering girls to complete a social action project that makes a real change in their community.
